Cash Awards

$5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top Green Schools to help fund their efforts to “go green”:

The Green School Awards Ceremony

The award ceremony will be a luncheon event held at the Communtiy Foundation on a date to be announced later. Representatives from each schools will be invited to attend.

The Green School Banner

All Schools recognized as a Green School will receive a banner to display in their school.

Certificates and Logos

All schools will receive a framed Green School certificate to display and camera ready logos to use on school stationery and websites.

Media Recognition

All schools will receive media recognition broadcast across the county.

Green Seed Money

Pine Jog Environmental Education Center has a program called Green Seed Money.  All schools that applied for Green School Recognition in the previous school year are eligible to apply for these funds which will help schools fund new Green School projects. To apply for these limited funds, please use the Green Seed Money Program Application. (Closed until 2012)
